Continuing Education Requirements
Every Real Estate agent is required to complete 24-hours of ADRE-approved Continuing Education (CE) courses every two (2) years to renew their real estate license. Education is typically delivered in two ways: learner-directed (anytime, anywhere, self-study format) and teacher-directed (instructor/school determines the place and direction). You may complete the required hours either way, or a combination of both!

There is no single entity for each members individual continuing education, and you are responsible for submitting your CE credits to ADRE for your renewal(s). Code of Ethics Training
NAR's Board of Directors approved a change to the Code of Ethics training requirement, extending it from every two years to every three years. This current cycle deadline is Dec. 31, 2024.
REALTORS® and Appraisers are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
Training may be completed through one of our LIVE or Live-Streamed classroom courses at LHAR, as well as online through NAR®, free of cost for members; please make sure you choose the correct course for your membership status.
